I had such a wonderful stay at this little hotel. The staff is simply amazing! I was very surprised and pleased to meet Juan, who is from Ecuador where I currently reside. He was so very helpful in everything, and I enjoyed being able to practice Spanish with him. Atilla, who worked in the evenings, was so funny and nice. I'm unsure how to spell the names of the lovely ladies who work there, but each and every one of them was super fantastic, as was the gentleman who I think is the manager. I neglected to ask his name, so sorry, but he was very helpful in pointing me to the shop where I could buy a transit pass. My room was very quiet and warm, despite the cold and rainy days. The bed was comfy, as were the pillows. The breakfast was quite lovely, served from 7 to 11, with a large selection of breads, meats, cheeses, cereals, boiled eggs, pancakes, yogurt, fruit cups, juices, coffees and teas, and I wish I could have stuffed more of it in my tummy. The hotel offers a great selection of beer and other beverages, and they'll even allow you to buy beer elsewhere and put it in their cold case, as the room didn't have a fridge. The shopping plaza in which the hotel is located is full of great shops and places to eat. The tram stop is just a few steps away, as are bus stops (but I didn't use them). There's a beautiful lake a short walk away, great place for cycling or walking. The lobby area is so comfortable for hanging out having coffee (try the hot chocolate, super) or a drink, chatting with staff, etc. It's available all night long, so if you're a night owl, you'll love it. Many thanks to all of you at Citiez for making my first visit to Amsterdam such a memorable one. I'll be seeing you again.

We stayed here as a family (with an 8-year-old). The hotel is very close to a tram stop that takes you directly to the city centre. We reached Amsterdam Central Station within 25 minutes, but you can reach the outskirts of the city quicker than this. I would recommend getting a tram pass for your stay as it will save you money and is good value (unless you like walking a lot). The hotel staff were very friendly and always happy to help. The hotel is modern and welcoming and the facilities were perfect for a few days stay. The rooms are cosy, but if you are exploring the city and just need somewhere to sleep they are perfect. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was powerful. I would highly recommend staying here for a city break where you plan to fill the days with exploration and need a comfortable place to sleep.

Citiez hotel in Amsterdam was a great experience. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. They made sure that we had everything we needed to feel comfortable. The room was clean and the linens were also bright white and clean. We used public transportation to go around the city and there is a tram stop (tram 17) right next to the hotel which was very convenient. The hotel also provides breakfast which was great! It was always fresh and well stocked. The coffee was also very good. We enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend this hotel.

Location is a bit outside, but very well connected with the city center with trams 1 and 17. Location itself is very calm, clean and with lot of shops. The room was very small, the smallest I have ever seen in my life (total of 12 m2 for the entrance, room and the bathroom). However, you get all the basics that you need. Everything is in very good condition and very clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Great value for money you pay considering overall accommodation pricing in Amsterdam.

we really enjoyed our stay, this accomodation was great, the room was clean when we got there and we also got cleaning service within the price every other day which was amazing. the hotel is quite close to the centre, the tram ride to the center is only about 20 minutes, the connection to the airport is also great about half an hour by bus. there are number of grocery shops and restaurants around the area which is also convenient. the hotel staff was nice and talkative. we had great time.
